What counts as a "hidden gem"?

Anime that score 8.0 or higher on MyAnimeList but that fewer than 150,000 members have added to their lists β€” highly rated, but far less watched than the big hits. Tweak both numbers in the filters to dig deeper.

How do "Seen" and "Watchlist" work?
